  • Scoring: The score will be the total time taken to engage all targets plus any penalty points for misses, failure to engage, foot faults and the normal rules used in the handgun games. The results will be posted on the Lemon Grove website during the afternoon or early evening of the day of the shoot. If you do not want your score shared, then do not turn in your scoring sheet and you will remain anonymous (this is first and foremost a FUN shoot).

  • Safety Rules:All shotguns will remain unloaded with the action open at all times unless the participant is under the control of a range safety officer and is engaging targets. Side-by-side or over and under shotguns may be closed while placed in the rack. Muzzles must be pointed downrange at all times while targets are being engaged. Eye and ear protection is required for both participants and spectators. Shot shells are limited to #7 shot or smaller to prevent shot from leaving the Range.

  • Shooter fees: The Match Fee is $5 for all shooters. Non-members will pay an additional $15 gate fee for a total of $20. Participants are also required to participate in match chores such as match setup, tear down, target painting, scoring and acting as Range Safety Officer.

Please feel free to share your ideas on how to make this event better as we evolve the format.
